Originally from the Chicago area, I moved to Austin, Texas, in 1996. Although the rich and varied landscape of Texas has been an important inspiration, my work generally reflects the vast yet unremarkable expanses of land, water, and sky of the rural Midwest.
My work has earned several awards, has appeared in publication, and is included in several collections in the U.S. and abroad. My work has been exhibited in Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Miami, and San Francisco.
